Is it just me?

I just don't get it, the hype with this story. I see a young man who was raped into submission by a man with money and high social status. This man cries countless times throughout season 1, then develops Stockholm Syndrome. Now in Season 2, ppl really want these two to end up together? They think they are in love? Wow. If this story is to your liking, good for you, we all have different tastes. Its a no for me though. This is my opinion, you don't have to comment on it or like it. Just respect it.

My comment literally said good for you if you like this work. That means I understand others won't view it they way I do because we all have different tastes. That also means I respect their decision to keep reading it and to keep liking it. If i can do that, why can't the same ppl respect my opinion?

Respecting each others opinions is normal. How could anyone go through life not doing that? This author is a great example. She knows there are people out there who don't like this story, and guess what? She reads their comments on her social media pages, she says I get it, its not for everyone and then she keeps writing. Respecting a person's viewpoint doesn't mean you have to agree with it or like it. You say,i disagree and keep it movin. Well mature people do anyway.

Everything u've said IS correct but I don't think he developed Stockholm syndrome. After he saw what the other servants had to go through because of that he decided to stop trying to run away. Also he considered where'd he go after escaping. HE HAS LITERALLY NOTHING NOW. Especially because he was told my the women in his town to never come back. I was really sad when he just accepted it because it was "best" for him (or something along those lines).

I totally get what you're saying. It feels more like survival tactics instead of the latter. I think the only reason I'm leaning towards syndrome is because instead of being happy that "his master" was being serviced by other men, he felt bothered by it. I keep in mind that Nakym's feelings are unclear as im not even sure

sorry, I accidentally posted before I finished. I was saying im not sure that Nakyum even knows what love is or feels like. So i assume that the unhealthy attachment that he's forming could become Stockholm's.

my comment said its not for me. I absolutely understand the concept because nothing I stated about the story was incorrect. I also enjoy reading historical works. This one, however, like i said before, just isn't my cup of tea. Its fiction? No. Shit. My comment also said good for you if you like the story. Great, thanks for stopping by to let me know you're on the hype train.
