Before anything, I don't mean to attack you or anything, it's just a opinion and I hope you don't fell attacked for my comment. If you fell that way, I sorry.
Anyways, I understand your opinion but I don't agree with you. First thing first, this webtoon is just for entertainment and a great part of the enjoyment it's the shipp's. The deep feelings that Suu and the others show in this series is the more important point of this work. Second thing second, we are just showing our opinions about which one of the characters we like more and this doesn't mean that we don't understand the history and the deeply emotional aspects that this webtoon show us. Third thing third, calling the people who care for shipp's a disservice is just presumptuous of you to say, because nobody here is a great author or a critic of literature. And the last but not the least, different kinds of people understand different types of works in different ways. So basically, the shipp's it's not important to you, but for others it is. Anyways, I hope you understand my point and I wish that you stay safe of the pandemics and everything else that's happening.
Sure, liking certain relationships is great, yet this isn't a story where ships are the pinnacle of the plot. There's no devoted 'couple' that are swooning over each other, so I would appreciate it if the discussion revolved more around the plot, the characters and their motives, etc. People apparently struggle to think objectively in light of their own ship, and it's somewhat exhausting to scroll through comments in an attempt to find good discussion and instead see comments that instead say 'I can't believe Suu is with _____ and will end up with _____. I'm not reading!'
Really, it's more than ridiculous.

stop shipping Suu! just enjoy the manga.
people literally freak the f*ck out when their ship doesn't sail. has anyone tried to ever read something analytically before? from an unbiased perspective? to enjoy the characters, the story, and the progression of the plot?
from the load of comments, it suggests not. seriously, when you read these kind of deeper stories, and you're only thinking about your ship and who ends up with who, you are doing the series a great disservice and to the amount of effort the author put into it.
forget about your ship. take a step back. chill.
