He is someone who was close to her since a long time, yes. So is it bearable to tear them apart? To them, it's only natural to be together. So when the idea that they need to tear apart at some point cross the mind, they will think automatically that they cannot live without each others. It is love. Not the romantically love you all think, just the secured and comfy love.
It’s not that weird for Estelle to have a thing for Emel (ya know knight in shining armor and whatnot) but Emel has known here since she was a literal baby...but I lowkey still am on board with the ship...but also a little conflicted.
