It’s honestly a bit confusing but the other gods did say he was no longer god ? My thoughts are since it no longer rains when she cries the ties they had while he was a god are gone since he no longer is one. So when she finds him the other gods give him the gift of just being a regular human? Like the other gods allowed him to stay as water until he was able to meet her once again and when they met that’s when he becomes Just a normal Human ... hope this makes sense lol I’m not good at explaining

okay, here it is. I read this long ago. now, I suddenly remember this and I forgot how it ends. I remember, water god became like water and floating and waiting for the girl. But, like at end did he became god again or what? Please help me, I forget that part.
