The uke also gives in too much for the seme, like it makes it seem like the uke is weak and how can the seme has so many ways to blackmail uke, I really don't understand tbh. Uke is a guy too, even if he thinks that he deserves it, but this is going overboard. Unless the seme has a very very very good reason for doing all this to the uke, or else I wouldn't even think of getting this two together. Letting the uke not be able to live without the seme is not exactly a valid reason for the seme's actions.

Want to know what also bothers me though, aside from the seme being absolute rotten garbage who doesn't seem to be even the slightest bit redeemable regardless of whatever motivations the author may present later?
The way people are treating the uke for doing his job. It obviously was not his decision to downsize the company. He's not the boss, he's not the CEO, he's an HR person who has to do what he's told. The bosses told him he had to fire a certain amount of people, and either he does it, or he gets fired and the bosses find someone else to do the job.
The point is, people are so shitty to the poor uke for no reason. They're placing all the anger on the uke instead of the company heads who demanded he fire all those people. What's sad is people act like that in the real world too, getting mad at subordinates for doing what their bosses demand.
And what's even worse is that even the uke feels like he deserves all their hate and all the punishment he's getting despite the fact that all he did was do his fucking job.
UGH this manga rubs me in so many wrong ways. I only keep reading because I just desperately want to see the uke be happy.
