I have mixed feelings with this, because he been a big idiot adds a lot of flavour to this. Also, I've read some spoilers about the novel and, to me, he gets more and more stupid, even when they try to explain his "master plan", he just looks plain moronic to me.
But, I would also would like if what you say is true.
Seriously, I really like this story and I'm fine with anything.
Well yeh his grand Master plan doesn't make sense like at all but at least it shows he wasnt completely a brainless fool who ws charmed by a pretty face he did put sm thought into his actions even if they were plain stupid

For what it's worth, I like him because I can hate on him till my heart's content, so he can be as stupid as he wants.
I really like this webtoon.
And don't get me wrong, the thing I enjoy THE MOST is people trashing on Rasta, that's delicious! Followed by people trashing on the Emperor... Those are the very best things of the whole story. I love to hate on them.
But reading Ch. 32 I had an "insight" about Rasta, she is just incredibly naive, and that makes kind of sense since she has lived as a slave almost her entire live in very "pitiful" conditions. So she's learnt very little about the world and the few things she does grasp is the mentality of: "you have to take every chance, no matter in what way, to make your life better, because no one will look after your well-being, but yourself"
That being said, I thing what's most jarring about her is that she is portrait way too "stupid to be alive", as well as the Emperor; they're plain stupid, which you could kind of understand from Rasta, but what's the excuse of the Emperor? He's another airhead, but he has no justification, and his stupidity just makes Rasta look worse. So, I think, every hateful feeling towards Rasta should always include the thought that the big stupid Emperor is always worst.
In my opinion, what doesn't sit very "well" in this whole setting is the enormous contrast between the two bimbos and the incredible smart and agile Empress. The contrast is too deep, especially with the supreme moron of the Emperor.
I would not change anything about this story, because I enjoy it very much as it is, but it would be more logical if the differences weren't as big and notorious. Especially with the Emperor, it would be more plausible that he weren't such a big cretin.
That being said, let's keep the trashing fest for those two dimwits.
