OMG YES!!! You just took the words right from my mouth (keyboard)! It feels realistic compared to the mainstream bl mangas.. It's just sooo warm and cozy, without all of those crazy plot or heavy dramas. It doesn't even have sex scenes but I don't feel any lack of affection between them at all >///< This is probably my favorite manga from all the bl manga.

It’s the exact same plot?
Fools is about two broken hearted people falling love with one another. Same in the remastered. They're still just regular college kids doing mundane things like meeting up for regular college kid things. Where is this dramaticness you’re talking about? We’re only 9 chpts in.
These 9 chpts have followed the original Fools to a T. Only now we know what happened when Jungwoo was waiting at the cafe and we know that the interaction at the time also left an impression on Eungi. The only big drama between Jungwoo and his ex was wrapped up quick here, in the old Fools it dragged out to the point where it was like Jungwoo was unofficially stuck between both Eungi and the ex.
Actually the new details Yeongha added in speaks to the simplicity you claim to want. Two boys just hovering over each other in a cafe, quietly watching and worrying about the other ( Jungwoo bought Eungi a cookie). They run into each other again and Eungi gives him a lollipop to soothe a crying Jungwoo. They’ve always cared for each other in quiet and simplistic ways, that’s the nature of Fools.
I legit do not know if I like this remastering or not?? The original story was not only nice because of the plot itself, but the art and the fucking colorpallet were immaculate. The little color details were just so good and the original art had this more "realistic" adult side to it that I just loved. And the plot that was simple yet compeling?? stan. Not every gay relationship needs to be dramatic. As a queer person, the simplicity felt close to home.
This doesn't have that, so I really don't think I am gonna be looking at this as a remastering, or more as a complete new thing.
