Hi I'm looking for a manga that I think was shounen ai but I'm not quite sure.
A man becomes the bodyguard/knight/smthng of a king after the king sacrifices his eye to protect him, promising to be his eye. It turns out the man is royalty of a neighboring country but left or was chased out because of problems with inheritance. It hinted toward some kind of relationship between the king and the MC but idk....
It's quite old because I remember reading it quite a while back and its original language is definitely Japanese
