She just got attacked and her reality of the world has been changed. Its easy to play cool when you think you know all the cards of the game, not so much when they flip the table on you and nearly kill you.
Stop complaining and give her a break, its only been a couple of chapters, she'll recover eventually. They wouldn't have shown us how capable she is otherwise.
i liked the earlier, confident and smart side of the empress but now that she sees the story has changed (obviously bc she herself has changed) she’s begun to break down and head towards that “weak, confused, scared” FL route for the last few chapters... she should stop worrying, reject the emperor properly and just think what she should do now in the present so she can secure a safe future
