I agree with how the imperial children are kinda treated lightly. I think as for the recorder, they're close friends and the King would prefer that the recorder treat him more of a friend than her King. Because when the King told her to do something she asked if it was an order and the king said it was a request from a friend then the recorder said in her thoughts that she would've cut him off if he ordered her, which means that they're close enough for her to think that way. And for the recorder's apprentice, I think he doesn't know that the man was the King. (=・ω・=)
Does anyone else dislike how informally the knights, The recorder and other people talk to the king and the princes + Princess. You'd think if they're the royal family that you'd have to greatly respect them. I also dislike how the recorders child just ran in and they both started yelling and the kid didn't even greet the king. I feel like this whole setting doesn't fit with how the characters should actually act. I just find it so weird how people talk so informally towards the king and the royal family. Like the head knight wouldn't even start a search party over the orders of the prince. I just find it a bit meh how the royal family is treated so far.
