yea... I got that vibe too from when he just burst into the shower. (considering how the "baby women" don't interest him, apparently the rest aren't off limits) ... it also did cross my mind if the creators made his friend to sorta live vicariously. Kinda like writing a love story with some amazing lead character... then making yourself into a love interest. (it's not like this main character isn't already amassing a huge harem already so inviting a male into the harem among the eventual mob of females will make a difference lol)
