That’s smart but that would mean they already know about the red haired heroine, and I don’t think they discoverer her till later, so would that mean the church is just hoping to find someone to replace her and use as a pawn and just got lucky in finding an actual royal blooded girl? Or is there another reason that the saintess wants to to get rid of the FL.

The way the latest chapter goes it looks like the church has been waiting to find something against the royal family. Which means they might not have seen or know of the heroine but now they might so they planning something for the royal palace and the just tumble upon the late king lost child and groom her or planning. Who knows just some speculation on my part.
How is that a false bloodline? She’s the daughter of the previous emperors brother, who becames the emperor. It’s still just as legitimate. In fact, wouldn’t the red haired heroine be more of a “false” blood line? She’s the daughter of a saint which was seen as a taboo to the temple. Technically the red head heroine would be first in line (but also how is it not taboo for her to exist, if it was taboo for her mother to give birth to her?) but the FL would still have just as much of a right as her cousin, she’s still royal by blood.
I enjoy the story, it’s just something that kinda bugs me.
