i think maybe bc he forgot the mom he forgot that she was with child? im not so sure on how it works but i dont think he would have any memory of the child bc he hasn't met her
It looks like if the mother's people die forgotten then they and all things associated with them are forgotten as well. So if they forgot the mom, then they would forget the mom had a child
from what i interpreted ,, when she dies , any information and relationships she's held are wiped out. absolutely forgotten
yeah i think it’s more like that. he wasn’t in the room when she was born, so he never even saw her, forgetting her mother meant forgetting she was ever even pregnant and having a child. if you forget someone you’d have to forget everything about them
the emperor knew the mother is giving birth to a child so why did the emperor forget that? hmm he may have forgotten the mother since she died but he shouldn’t have forgotten about the child tho.
