I dont think so. From what i can remember,you are refering to the soul realm within his soul. Thats something common in most wuxia stories. all cultivators in this manga get it when they broke to the realm he was before crossing to the big world. Everyones soul realm is different from one another. Our mc realm is special for plot purposes. Anyhow they been focusing alot on this power lately and i think it might have been the extreme pure yang since he dint have any other special constitution apart from that

conflagreted knowledge sea is the evolution-like or mutation thing that he received after refining the yang-spirit in the jade that he got from the yang jade stone.
as for the so called pure yang that he had since the beginning, it was actually the technique that he is practicing that lets him condense drops of yang energy that he stores in his dantian which he uses to do certain things.
