I have to admit that this really sounds like it came out from a shonen-ai manga. You're really freaked out when you wrote this post and I hope you feel better now. At the same time, I have a similar experience. I wasn't a fujoshi back then and didn't even know the existence of yaoi that time. I grew up in a conservative environment but despite that, everyone perceived me as an open-minded person. Henceforth, I have many kinds of friends since I was little.
My bestfriend was quite open with her affection when she realized she liked me, practically harassing me at times especially when I was about to change for Physical Ed. I kept telling her that I'm straight but she kept saying that she just couldn't help it. Stolen kisses, her lingered touches.. maybe I was too gentle on most rejections but she was an irreplaceable friend. I showed my irritations and sometimes I didn't even talk to her for a few days when things got extreme (of course I freaked out). We stayed as friends until graduation and even when we parted ways (because our colleges were far apart), she said if we were to meet again and she didn't think she could forget me because I was her first love. She was already dating someone else then.
I hope this could be of help for a bit? Your best friend... He sounds like a good friend IMHO despite he might have had an ulterior motive. He seemed to be content to be your best friend at first because he knew that it was a hopeless love until he found out that you read BL. He thought it could be a chance and despite you said that you were straight but in his opinion, a chance is still a chance.
Talk to him. Yes, it might be painful to him at first and possible loss of friendship for a period of time, who knows. I just hope he understood that you are not a homophobic and accept that you are straight. I hope that you guys are still friends and he could move on. WOW! It really does look like something out of a shounen-ai manga, but hey, life is sometimes stranger than fiction. Anyways, tell your bro that if his best friend is the one for him, then that should be that. Just because most people say that they're straight, doesn't mean that they're not gonna feel something for the person of the same gender. Sexual fluidity does exist. That person may be straight, but it also means that that person is special to him/her in some ways and love does come in different forms. However, if your bro doesn't see his friend in a romantic way, then he should straight up tell him the truth cuz if he doesn't, both of them are gonna be in a world full of hurt and that's not good for anybody's health. Hi guys i need some advice well the story was like this my bestfriend ask me if i was free in suterday and i say yes and after that he go to my house to pick me up but i was showering that time so my mom said come to his room.
