It makes me uncomfortable how they talk about loyalty for the empress considering most of them were on board with the treason, I would prefer if they pledge their loyalty to the queendom/kingdom, to the people they have to protect, instead of the ruler they were so close to kick out, their loyalty is obviously with the people.

No I think everyone is loyal to her. It's clear they love her dearly but she was a tyrant so I think a revolution was necessary. But they waited for the last possible second and the minute she changed they come begging forgiveness because they didn't really want to kill but she was out of control. I think that shows how much her people really love her.

That's the point, the revolution was necessary for the sake of the people, their loyalty and responsibilities lies with them, they were literally SO close to kick her out, it does make me uncomfortable how they talk about loyalty towards the empress, I can't easily ignore that, Count Venus in the other hand, is quite honest about his actions, his loyalty is towards the empire.

But they held out on the revolution for so long, despite the tyranny, BECAUSE they were so loyal to her. It was empress>people till they couldn't ignore her tyranny anymore. The story is that ghey had no choice, even Eusto (who is in love with her) steeled himself to kill her.

They could no longer ignore.... for the good of the people, there is absently nothing wrong with their loyalty being towards the empire and its people.

Stop playing with the goalpost, you're talking about whether or not they have loyalty to the empress and the answer is yes. You're presenting their loyalty to the people as a counter when it's not. They have both. You also tried to argue depth of loyalty, empress vs people, to which i pointed out that they only held a revolution at the last second because they didn't want to, they ended up forced to. So it seems (and we're kinda directly shown as we see internal monologs from Eusto about not wanting to kill her and everyone begging for forgiveness when they realize she was drugged) that it was empress>people.

I don't know why I have to justify my own feeling to you so hard, or why are you so concern about it, I did not say they were unloyal and that they are terrible, they of course have a sense of loyalty towards her and that was because she was a good ruler, they had to do something, revolution, for the greater good, protect the empire.

I repeat, I said it made me feel uncomfortable considering all that happen in such a short amount of time, why is that feeling such a deal? I don't have idea.
