You actually nailed it..most likely this is the case. Plus that burn in his hand. He def had some traumatic experience before that made him like that
I don’t think Will likes Daath romantically. It sounds like he’s been having major inferiority complex as a beta and a past servant. Other omegaverse stories also mentioned how many beta are secretly jealous of a/o and their bond, plus Will used to be a servant and he must have fought with all his might to break out of that destiny and establish his standing. After all of that, he still has almost no one who he can confide in and be vulnerable with, as he keeps all those secrets to himself and refuses to open his heart to others. That complex combined with a life among privileged alpha must have caused tumors inside Will. I’m actually glad sensei is telling us about his story and can’t wait to see how it will go.
