The records show that the King didn't love Estrella's mother, he is just a kind. I think Estrella's mother is a concubine cause she's basically a descendant of the god and she really love the King. I think the Queen is the first wife and original mother of the 3 older children.

does that mean this is his second wife? because if he took care of estrella’s mother and had a child with her (even if he doesn’t remember) i assume it’s because his first kids mom already died and he was single at the time? because if he had an affair i can tell you right now she will NOT like estrella...
