same, especially she knows, or somewhat predicts, or whatsoever u called that, that she'll disappear in that world someday and she's being careful so that when that day comes, she'll never get hurt and prepared for the worst she didnt think about any romance around her cuz of that

I feel like she still suffers from low self esteem. Imagine having friends who are all smarter, wealthier, talented and more beautiful than you are by a large margin. She's being realistic even though it's painful for us readers... still better than being a delusional hoe who thinks everyone is in love with her
