Your argument about things outweighing each other doesn't work. This is not a yes or no choice where the majority wins. This is simply a opinion based topic with no outcome. The likes mean that they like the idea and so do I,it doesn't mean that it would work in this story so that makes it even more irrelevant. At most the only thing that can happen right now is that people will develop their opinions further, "opinions outweighing each other" doesnt mean anything and we don't know what everyone's opinion on this is.

In the story it referred to the other one as her "daughter". This happened in a flashback of her past life. Basically she died to save her daughter.
