You took the words out of my mouth. He seriously feels like a prop now, his existence solely there for Seunghos character development and story. And ofc its good that the main characters are influencing each other, that’s how it should be, but what about Nakyum? Yeah he’s changed compared to first season, he’s admitted and accepted his sexuality and situation. But that’s it?

I feel bad for him too bruh. Like that one chapter (forgot what chapter it is) where he just accepts whatever's seungho's done to him after being called that fugly servant a sl*t. Like if you look at his environment in his childhood, growing up he's surrounded by kisaengs so subconsciously, he thinks that it's also his duty to please men. And the fact that he was turned away when he returned to the kisaeng house breaks my heart as that place was considered as his home. I think that he's psychologically weak to think that he couldn't control his own situation. Yes, he could've ran away, but he has nothing on him except his painting supplies. He could've taken revenge, but he's got no power, and against YSH who's very influential he's sure to be taken down. I'm no psychology major, but it's my theory. And this is not those Chinese manhuas (not hating on them lol, many are actually good), where a character has enough resources and in a situation wherein he or she can reverse his/her fate. Usually revenge theme in manhuas are also done since someone powerful magically appearsand helps the protag, or even have a rebirth or transmigration. But in this case, Nakyum has basically nothing.
Even if he doesn't have anything or anyone to help him, he still needs to try to run, I mean he's in pain and is crying every time they do something to him so why doesn't he want to try to run? And if there's no hope, he should commit suicide tbh, it's better than getting humanlited, beat, and raped for the rest of his life. What I'm saying is I don't want to just see a pretty boy suffering and not doing anything, I want him to have important role and development. For a main character, NK is really not doing anything worthy in this manhwa, nothing at all....this's why I said the author needs to focus on his character instead of focusing on SH only
Now that u mentioned suicide, that might be the tragic ending of this story if it will have one.
I feel like we need a new LI. A character that is the opposite, like THE EXCACT opposite of nk's Love Interests. Everything from personality to appearance and roles. Nk will expirience something new and fresh once he meets the boy that is finally going to give him the positive feeling of happiness.
Now I've realized that he can't be independent yet. He doesn't love himself yet and has no self confidence.
By introducing a kind,non-shitty character, nakyum will learn to love himself because someone is finally helping him loving him unconditionally.
Yeah we need a least one character that can help him out but that will never happen because the author is trying to make SH "nice" and makes NK depend on him only...
But,I'm actually scared of nice guys tho ...if such character actually appears, Nk will see them as his savior and will continue to depend on others rather than standing up to himself. Remember that one manhwa about a superstar who was s*xually abused by his sponsors? He met such a nice guy but ended up being left alone again. And by the time he actually can stand up on his own his trauma comes back to him. And please don't mention s*icide, NK only has the will to live left for himself. And yes, he did try running away not just once, but many times actually. The first time was he was betrayed by his teacher, and another time he was turned away. And repeating what I've replied above, looking at SH's influence and obsession towards NK, it would be impossible for him to run away. Imagine how powerful Yoon family is. SH is notorious for sodomistic (?) Despite him not being head of the family,meaning he's got such a powerful background. We don't see him working either, that means he's rich enough to support his lust and luxury. NK was left with no other options but to bite the bullet and just adapt to his surroundings. If I were to continue this I'd like Nk to just live his plain life,away from stress and worries. But since manhwas tend to be really dark if they were dark from the beginning, yahwacheop has 50/50 chance of being an HE. so yeah I just have this canon in my head where the assassination actually happens and SH, drowning in his misery, transmigrates to the modern era where a happy, normal HS boy NK lives as an art student and it's just filled with fluff. But this ain't it so

Every character has a story and development, even the servants are doing something entertaining . We have TWO seasons and he did nothing worthy or important too far. All he been doing was sleeping, eating, getting beat/raped.
He was supposed to run or take a revenge, he would've been an amazing character if this happened....I really wish the author pay more attention to his character like she does with Seungho bruh...I'm just tired of feeling bad for him and pity him in every chapter because it's getting boring
