I've just sort of put in my head that demons live ten times longer than humans and a demon is a child until they turn like 60 or something so technically in human terms she's an adult and the age gap isn't far! Makes life somewhat easier. I mean who knows, maybe when she turns a certain age she'll "evolve" into adult her.
