Ok so the seme breaks things off with uke in the next chaoter (I think it’s cuz he realizes the uke isn’t into it or he gets triggered by the new guy) and isolates himself in his apartment and then the backstories get told. Uke was not actually in an abusive relationship, it was just a memory of a bad one night stand. Seme has a lot more baggage that explains why he doesn’t want a relationship and that’s all I’m gonna say bc it’s all pretty wow. I can’t 100% recall how it all went down, but it comes to a point where the uke confronts the seme abt everything (or at least that’s what I think happened), they talk things out, seme breaks down, uke cries, and then they hug HAHAHAHAAHA
By triggered I mean the new guy told him something that triggered him and he was like “We should end this.” and yote out of there

Smth happened in the seme’s past that kinda caused him to mix up pain with feelings of love (like love and pain go tgt) and he realises how messed up it is and decided to stop getting involved in relationships or falling for pple bc he feels guilty/scared to end up hurting them
Like you saw how he was with the uke in Cph.14 right? That was kind of it. Like that was a beginning manifestation of his “love”.
I remember a part from SM Gokko similar to this... The Dom said to his Sub that this is the only way he can love him,. Something in this manner...
Really, DS relationships with love are quite hard to maintain but are still lovely and romantic for me.
