Think about it, this situation actually happens in real life when the rapist is forgiven by the victim because they treat the victims well after the rape. It’s not Stockholm Syndrome, more like Dumb Syndrome.
At least the ex guy does not rape people even though he also has asshole personality.

I have read chapter 8 but my opinion is still the same. I still think Mayumi is an asshole, even though he saves someone else’s life, he is still a rapist. That doesn’t change.

Here is my spoiler: The ex guy tries to pursuade Ma-kun to work for his criminal plan. Ma-kun accepts. But after finishing some parts of the plan, Ma-kun comes back to Hitoshi.
That’s it.
The only worth-reading part of this manga is how the ex guy manipulates Ma-kun. I found that part very interesting and rare in yaoi. The rest of the story is boring.

Both Ma-kun and his ex are fucking self-centred assholes. The fans say that the ex guy is selfish and asshole but they cannot accept the fact that Ma-kun is the same as his ex.

The only good person in this manga is Hitoshi. And that’s why I want him to find a better person than Ma-kun. He deserves a better partner, not a criminal.

I definitely agree that the only good person is Hitoshi but I don't hold any animosity towards Ma-kun or his ex. Too much effort to invest in feeling too much for this story. Just cuz it ain't going the way you want it to go, doesn't mean it's boring. I personally like where the story's going, certainly a lot better than some of the things I've read here.

Though finding something boring is subjective. It's useless to argue about it.

It’s so obvious. He is manipulative and self-centered. He does not care about other people’s feelings (even his boyfriend). He dates Ma-kun not because he loves him, but because he can manipulate Ma-kun to do the things he wants. He found interest in Ma-kun just because of his gifted talent.
Ma-kun realized this side of his ex and decided to run away from him.

Even though the ex guy is an asshole, I still love him because I have a thing for manipulative uke characters. But I hate Ma-kun because he’s a rapist.
