But the twins don’t trust the King nor do they know that they are loved by them. Besides, they were teenagers when they were reincarnated and was immediately abused by those around them after their birth. They had no one whom they could trust nor do they have any way of getting out of their predicament due to their young body. That is why at this point there is not much they could do about this and why they trust the duke and his so so readily as they were the first to treat them nicely. Plus, being abused affects people’s mentality no matter how old they are. Sorry for the long reply but I feel that it is sad that everyone is fixated on the part in which the twins are spiritually 20+ years old and for any grammar mistakes since I was writing from my phone.
In my opinion the Duke was not the first one to be nice to them..and it was weird to me how they were so ready to trust people they hardly new....you would think they had better self awareness and were more cautious..and you would think that because the were older when they reincarnated they would have better communication skills. It's crazy how they can believe anything they are told..but not believe in people who are showing actual sincerity and are trying to Express there love to them..they are constantly being told by the family that they think of them as family

Omg!!! OmegaRin, I agree wholeheartedly!!! Being abused doesn’t mean their brains have stopped working. These are 20+ year people with all the petty prejudices of that age! Real 5 year old kids aren’t that recalcitrant or stubborn in their stance. like idk what the author is thinking. they aren’t actually 5 year kids being abused n being confused about the context of their lives. These are Korean high schoolers with having had full exposure to how isekai stories go about... the reasonable storyline would have been how they can secure their lives, not act some like emo kids n go about thinking “everybody hates me! Oh pity me, pity me! I was abused”.

Like is the entire storyline going to be like this. “Boohoo, I’m abused! I don’t trust anyone, except villains n their douche sons!!!” Even after the second prince revealed the story also, they continue on the same path. I get that trust is not easy to establish, but what astounded me more was the fact that the duke interrupted a conversation between 3 royals n the 2 young royals dismisses the oldest royal dere just like that. Can anyone without power dismiss people from a conversation? NO! All those naysayers, try to imagine a situation where you can dismiss your boss. I bet no one can. This entire time, these twins have led the conversation n continued to hold hostage any semblance of civility in the name of “boohoo! We’re abused! So we can be rude to our family members who are sincere n give our full attention to villainous strangers who cause discord” ! Like wtf! If they are suspicious then they should stay in character!
N what kind of guardian doesn’t even appear in front of their masters n at least explain a bit! But this wolf guardian somehow has enough time to appear in front of others enough to have entire fucking conversations!!! if he had time n energy to do that, he had time to do the same to his masters.
