Actually I prefer if the Duchess got slapped and the Duke saw rather than the Duke came in time to prevent her from getting slapped cause honestly, seeing the person you hold dearly got hurt would actually make your blood pressure much higher than seeing them almost got hurt (I dunno if that make sense) but I'm looking forward to the new chapter
