This could be a reach but Mi-Ran does not seem very comfortable with the friendship between the two. Maybe she is just joking but it feels like she is insecure of her friend even though the three of the have been friends for a while. IRL, that would boil over so fast. Next thing you know, you are sidelined and left out.
