Many people in real life also jump into conclusion if seeing someone like him so I guess the logic kinda work.

So far, all of the characters are unlikable except for the mc and the elves. Instead of jumping into conclusion and getting mad at him for no reason, why not try to at least have a proper conversation with him??? It's a miracle they have managed to level up that much with that attitude.
Also, may has done nothing significant so far, I wonder why she's even introduced
