I mean Aria had no friends aside from the prince, don't know if he counts as a friend though since he was more of her caregiver/gatekeeper, and I think she didn't want to speak up against him because 1. she has no backbone 2. she thought she couldn't trust anyone but the prince and 3. she thought if she spoke out against him she'd be thrown away and have nowhere to go
she's just a coward teenager who was looking out for herself and honestly I can't blame her, but I get why you do

oh wow wait a second Σ( ̄□ ̄||) " nearly killed, imprisoned and tortured"? I'm pretty sure Aira (ha! I said her name wrong before) hadn't even consider that a possibility, all she saw Kyle do was reprimand Elizabeth and that in no way would make her think that her life would be in danger
I know I said Aira was a coward but I still think she's a normal person, I would assume if she thought Elizabeth would die because she tried to involve herself with her she would step up and try to save her, but that's all hypothetical because no one's life was even mentioned to be put in danger ( ̄∇ ̄")
also I have to remind you, Aira is 16, normal 16 year olds who get kicked out of their homes in this they and age can hardly survive on their own, so I imagen that being kicked out into a world you barely know about would be much worse
I guess it just comes down to how we both interpreted Aira's character (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
I know her situation but for her to just stand there and allow people to get treated like trash due to her own negligence made me dislike her and fkin harte her personality I'm trying so hard to give her leeway but the way she sits behind a dimwitted prince and allow her friends and people who mean her well get hurt has my blood boiling. I respect the FL for not giving a sh*t when the prince tossed her aside
