im pretty sure the reason why the updates aren't frequent is because the story has 'ended' at vol 7/8, where misaki comes in.
the only reason why this is still ongoing is because the mangaka and the readers loved this story so much, that the mangaka decided to continue it.
-this also isnt the only thing she's working on rn, she's also working on kuze-san's manga, which is only released in japan as of now
There isn't a kuze manga? She's working on the wolf/prince manga Wananaku Kiba no Dahlia which is published in the off months of KSB usually.
