Reminds me of that one tribal manga where each of the mcs' fathers were lovers but were bound to have children for the future of their tribe as well... I was really devastated but I'm so glad the mcs weren't bound to the same fate. As they said, times were changing.
I really hope it'd be the same case here... But I understand that the weight they're carrying is to a larger extent. It's basically preserving art... But if they just want a heir to teach techniques to, they can adopt right? Or pick someone from the relatives? I don't know... I hope they can do that.
