Her parents know about her magic, but her mother hates magic, the father is fine but he loves his wife more than his daughter so he stands for his wife, they allowed FL to learn magic but it's because they want her to be better at hiding her magic

It's super sad how she basically hates her daughter . Cause the FL goes all happy to the mom like "mom look at what I can make!" Then ( if I remember correctly ) the mom slaps her it's so heartbreaking so I understand why she's "bratty"
Yeah i don't really understand that part because i haven't read further as well (i'm still on chapter 38 when FL told the story about her parents to ML)

I know and she saw her daughter with such hateful eyes and was basically like "don't touch me"

1. The parents didn't know about the assassin's and everything, they sent letters and she "sent" letters back and everything. They did decide to marry her off without her consent tho :/ so yeah they are kinda shitty
2. The reason as to why she's "bratty" or "bitchy" is well, you guessed it *ding ding ding* because her parents didn't really care about her so she basically had/s the mentality "they can't hurt me if I hurt them first" or "I'll hurt them first before they hurt me" ya get me???
3. They *obviously* end up falling in love with each other and it's so cute
