Forgive me for comparing the two manhwas

First off, Nicholas is best boi

Second: you ever get a cathartic experience from a fictional character meting out punishment on a rapist

Third: I can't help but compare this manhwa with the other one since both of them revolve around paintings, not to mention the main characters' archetypes are also very similar. Both of them are interesting in their own right but while the other one is considerably more popular than this one, I find myself more excited for the updates of this manhwa and when I think of paintings and manhwa I immediately think of this one. I think the way the story flows in the two are different, one is plot-heavy, the other one is smut-heavy. I mostly prefer the former type so this one is right up my alley. I feel like this is very underrated but reading the comments here, I'm guessing a lot of it has to do with people not liking the art style.

i actually like this art style. it’s cute and original. the black and white also makes it seem more intense. it builds a better mood.

Agreed, such an art style isn't common in manhwas and I really like it, plus I love the details the artist has put into the characters' appearances. It's just that I read several comments that said that they couldn't get into it because of the art style but once they got into it, they liked it.

i love the story, but i agree with you, the art is not *as* beautiful as the other coloured manga, but i still enjoy it :)

Oh yeah, I definitely did not read for the art style but the plot is so much more intriguing than most bl manhwa’s I’ve read. I love the realistic emotional progression, political intrigue, and character development. I feel like it’s all done so intricately, like the author knows what they’re doing.
