She’s prideful!! Cause if she was humble, she would’ve gotten the powers and used it to heal others and save herself!! That’s why I don’t honestly understand her too
Its because of the fact that she couldn't trust him. It happens to real life victims too. They trust no one and staying with evil you know/are used to is better than having trust in someone but then being betrayed.
What irked me the most not the fact she rejected the ML offer, it's understandable if she have trust issue, but I expect at least she has a basic plan to avoid her death, so far everything was just a sheer of luck, she wandered around the forest and find the tombstone and by chance have a healing power, she even met fairy but oh how humble is she that she refused her reward (I'm being sarcastic), even have the audacity to feel bothered when the fairy bestowed upon her the blessings, sure she has no need for it now but who knows in the future, it may came in handy.
Should I call it pride or arrogance? or just foolishness. She need to learn from Le Blaine from 'The Baby Raising The Devil', she trust no one but she still can use them cause she knows she can't survive alone, she even accept the offer from the demon even if it no use to her.
