No, he didnt. Eric used his pocket watch or Jack's metal eyepatch (cant remember) and Shell shot that instead. They pretended it was Eric so the world wouldn't be so fucked. Eric went to the south where Shell visits him a lot.ヾ(☆▽☆) (There was another part that showed something that was bent from the bullet where Eric was hit. I dont know if it got removed or something. That's what it was when I first read it.)
