It's because of the mark on her chest. In this world, if you have a mark somewhere on your body that means someone else has the same mark and thats who your soulmate is. It is believed that fate will force you to be with them so any relationships you had before is a waste. Because she has a mark and he doesn't, that means he's not her soulmate; so she's worried that if they begin to fall in love, her soulmate will come and she will be forced to be with him and leave Aspeh, essentially doing the exact same thing that her sister did in the book that made him become evil.
Okay that does make sense. But what if her mark means that she’s free to choose? Or once they’re in love with each other then the mark appears on him? I think she really needs to analyze her mark the ways she can use it to her advantage
Oh the spoilers I can give you....nah her mark is normal. She does have a soulmate and for her mark to appear, it must mean her partners mark would have to also appear...thats how it normally goes
i'm not current, but can somebody tell me why her existence would be bad for him? like it was obvious that there was no feelings during ml and the sister, so why is she still denying her feelings? It seems like in this scenario, her being with him would save him but she keeps flip flopping without seeing the current situation for what it is. She has already noted that she was put in that world to be his savior, so isn't distancing herself doing the opposite of the result she seeks?
The sister is probably gonna fall for her pair, and ml isn't more annoyed by the sister than anything so why is this getting so dragged out??
