Someone else explained but what happened is:
-they were using gyeong joons soul to cleanse Cains soul and get the bullet out
-the doctor was keeping the souls separate
-When the doctor got attacked, he got distracted and Cain's soul started overtaking Gyeongjoons soul
-GJ started dying
-Cain realized smth was wrong, so he forced himself out of the healing process, saving GJ
-Half of the bullet is out of his heart

Not trying to be mean but I didn't understand this chapter at all cause of the translation . Don't get me wrong I really appreciate the effort and I know it's not easy to translate, but the translation was a little bit messy which made it difficult to understand.
