Every time I read BL now, I will always abide by the rule I got from Yaoi Research Club manga that yaoi has no story progression, no conclusion and no meaning so I will move on and save myself from this shit lmfao

    Thing is it's not Stockholm Sybdrome? The seme didn't hold the uke captive? It's the other way around, he assulted the uke and yet he said the uke kidnapped him but he was always free to go and he was offered to stay LOL

    There's a type where it's not kidnapping or holding captive. but essentially manipulating his mind. changing his thinking into making him love him. So when any outsider, like us reader would consider their relationship we would think it's, "not normal." I forget what it's called but there is a form of it without kidnapping.

    my friend, it could have been illegal detention to some extent. like kidnapping, deprivation of liberty is the key. in some cases, it does not literally mean being held captive.
