I thought the process of them getting Rourou didn't really put any importance in knowing who the mother is because she won't be responsible of the baby? and wasn't it Feng Jinyao who took Yi Yun's egg and freeze it so it can be used in the future?
You're right that it doesn't matter who is RouRous mother (hopefully it doesn't matter), but Yi Yun's egg was also stolen from Feng Jinyao which was told couple chapters earlier
