My reading experience was heavily disrupted by the confusing format. I had to re-read several scenes. Makes me very sad.
And we can't even act ungrateful or we get hate bc something is better than nothing. But honestly I would have rather waited longer to get something better
Yup! I remember when I actually thought this format might be interesting to read but DAMN! Just leave the author's intended format ALONE.
Yumi's Cells is a good example of horizontal reading but that was the intended format.
It's especially important for mobile readers who make up a huge body of the readers. Long strip formatting was designed for mobile readers, so it's especially bad when you make the frames smaller, and doubled up. Blech
Oh man I would be pissed if I was reading on mobile! I actually prefer the vertical format for reading webcomics compared to the manga I've read here. The flows just all wrong! I'm sure the manga would be fine if I we're reading it in book form as it was intended. I read the Wings of Fire graphic novel a few months back and enjoyed it just fine.
Congratulations on completely ignoring the intentional formating of the author, and fucking up the gutter flow~
