You are right, it's absolutly part of his plot, he dosen't particularly like her and cannot stand the aristocracy, so she's got to be a means to an end. And I think maybe he'd go to Henry's or his painting mentor Mr. Francois' ?
Mr Francois would be my own 1st pick. If he went to stay with Henry, Raymonds' brat sis
would get jealous. Although Henry would be my pick for Ian as a backup bf, lol :p
I can only think of one reason why he'd propose to Princess Peabrain -- as part of his plot to avenge himself. If Ian feels hurt or disgusted, I'll be the last to blame him. But where else can he go?
