I’m wrong for saying it not incest? Because it not. No one said anything about adopted family being fake you said that all on your own. So you must think that. And yes it not incest since she is in a different body and is a new person. The imperial mother is dead. So she isn’t his mother anymore but a female of the Su family that wants to be empress.
It’s fine if you don’t understand what incest means. You can look it up in a dictionary or google but incest is basically only with blood related family members which is why some states and countries allow relationship with adoptive and step siblings/parents. Also if we was making this a historical thing it definitely not bad since in history incest was a normal thing for them until some countries made it illegal. I mean you’re the only one making that assumption up. Adoptive families are not fake unless the adoptive parents only adopt a child for heinous actions (ie sexual, mental or physical abuse). I classify incest more blood related than anything, but can understand people classify anything as incest
no, I think you Don't understand the meaning of incest.. you immediately assume that only blood relation = incest which is completely wrong. it has more to do with the relationship and bond between two people that make them a family. I think you need to look it up

You claim it incest because she is his mother which is true she WAS his adopted mother but once she died she instantly isn’t his mother anymore when she is in someone else’s body. Yes her soul is still there but in this story she isn’t his mother. She basically a teen girl who dreams of becoming the empress. His imperial mother is dead.
