Sad to say but there can't always be a happy ending
On another note it is so romantic that Erin sacrificed herself so Rowan wouldn't be struck by those arrows, I'm glad she didn't run away. There was no way Rowan was gonna get away alive, hell he even knew he wasn't going to live through that and I think Erin knew that so she pushed him out of the way. Kind of a spin on the death of Romeo and Juliet in a way... I know it sounds morbid, and I would have liked for them to live happily ever after, but kind of refreshing when a story takes a different turn.
