Also, there are just some families who don't think depression and suicidal tendencies are a thing. It's that "get over it" mentality or "it will get better" and so on. It mostly comes from the culture and the environment but it is true there are just some who can't fathom why you would want to end it all. When I told my sister I tried it twice (we don't live together anymore) she was very indifferent about it and said "that just shows you don't really want to die". In FL's family's case I think it's a mixture of both cases because they do talk very negatively of her past personality and behaviour. Like they didn't understand it from the start and then just got used to her behaviour and now think she just got over her "funk". Which is not true, she succeeded but they will never know.

Her male family members do not deserve to be her family anymore.
The way I see it they did not give much a damn about the feelings of the OGHost since she was born!
If given the opportunity the MC should just cut ties with this family just like "The Duchess 50 Tea Recipes" or "I tamed the Tyrant and Ran Away" (novel).

I respect your opinion but I come from a Chinese family with impossible high demands that caused me to become very depressed and suicidal.
They may have not abused me but they unnessary pressured and frighten me to the point where I had almost no confidence and only desperation + frustrations.
The best solution for me and punishment for them was to leave/abandon them for good. It empowered me not to be restricted in a toxic harsh enviroment.
The problem isn't just that they didn't protect her like perfect superheroes but failed to aknowledge that she wasn't well and very unhappy in this family or to be near their enviroment. People like me are quite outraged that they able to become a wholesome family after the disease/OGHost is gone for good!
To me it just saying: Now that you function the way we want and surprise us with good result without ever becoming gloomy and sad again, we now like you more...
That is such unforgiving insult!!!!

Now now, I don't necessarily think they will be a 'wholesome' family and if you take into account that the previous owner of the body is no longer in possession of it. Now the one who is possessing her body is a complete stranger who only experienced the things the 'original' had experienced through memories instead of in person so it's optional if she decides to hate them or love them. From facial expressions to the way they talk with one another is a clear give away that they do indeed have respect for her and wish to help her, as the story progresses we might learn something to prove this point because the only thing we have heard entirely is that she is Suicidal or prone to lash out at anyone near. When you think of this their is no detail about her family wanting to help her, maybe the author wanted to make everyone angry for a while before uncovering the truth.
I know it's strange to think a family would turn a blind eye against their child trying to commit suicide but to be honest it's not as strange as it may seem. I'm mentally and physically unstable, my body hasn't always been in the best state and my parents try to do what they can to help me at times but other times it's sort of like they get use to it. I will be upfront, I have tried committing suicide once and honestly I Will not say if I regretted that decision or wished it actually worked. And about the 'they're use to it' thing it's sort of like when your mother or father already knows what food you like from a fast food restaurant you go to frequently, they get use to ordering it. In this case it's sort of like her siblings and grandfather were use to the fact that the girl had often lashed out and attempted suicide multiple times but failed so many times they gave up. Judging from the description given about how they would act around the previous daughter before the woman took over her body after reincarnating, it's safe to say the family wasn't like any other 'normal' family. From the way she was first treated and described to the way she is treated now in the present chapter it's obviously a large change of 'day and night'.
I apologize I got a little personal with my own information but I'm sort of tired of seeing people say. "How could they just sit by and watch." yes they had a choice to talk with her but honestly would it do anything to help her at that time before the woman had taken control of the body? Or would she have only gotten worse when the attention wasn't directed at her anymore? There are many things to consider before you start talking about things such as others helping other who wish to end their own life. The world isn't full of superheroes, and if it was it would be a nightmare and not a blessing. (。’▽’。)♡
