Help Please

So, I really want to reread this story, and it's about this guy (mc) who has dark short hair, goes to live for awhile with a family friend? who he thinks he hasn't met before. The family friend? has long hair and is not very nice to the othe guy. He wears long sleeves and has blonde looking long hair. The mc said something mean to the family friend when he finds out that the family friend was a guy( this happens when they were children). That's what I can remember.
