I noticed that they mention she was so sad and depressed and had a lifeless look on her face all the time... she was depressed and tried to commit suicide for a reason. Obviously that reason was her family, no one tried to help her or even cared about her. Everyone looked down on her and called her crazy. But now they “like” her or are starting too?? They even called her a tool to stop the red head,, she’s no damn tool. Ion know but I REALLY dislike everyone

people in the past didn't know what depression was, try taking that into consideration

either they were normal or they had a big sad and seemed like an annoyance. people didn't know about mental problems since there was not enough technology to actually understand the human brain, or mind.

Same. Fuck Lancelot. What did he call her? A despicable wench or something? All of them just ignored what that bitch was doing to her. All of them hated her mother. Man, some bullshit

I think @Trodrigo was talking about the abuse aspect rather than the mental illness. You did make a good point though, I didn’t think about the time either... though that doesn’t really change my opinion cuz what they did was still wrong and ignorance doesn’t justify that. But yeh I get what you meant

yes, but ignorance was why she was abused in the first place. if you tried to understand a bit more, you would see that the abuse was not completely avoidable.

Yes you’re right. But I guess what trying to say is even though I get why it happened, it still pisses me off that it did, just like the same way that it makes me angry that abuse towards the mentally ill was heavily prevalent during that time no matter the context. Ignorance took part and it’s understandable, yes, but still not justified enough to be excused
