Cain asked the Doc for a favor, to tell Gyeong Joon that he basically got his power back and left him to go back to hell, and that he’s never coming back.
Meaning Cain had the Doc lie for him, because he wanted to protect Gyeong Joon, since he saw that his soul was almost corrupted/destroyed while trying to help Cain. Also I’m pretty sure Cain didn’t get all his powers back (the Doc said he removed only half the piece stuck in his chest)
So Cain is in love with the uke and the uke almost died saving Cain and Cain couldn’t handle the thought of the uke dying or being in danger in general, let alone becuase of him . So he went back to hell to protect the uke from himself
