I agree with you, but I guess that's how many teenagers (especially boys) behave: if you don't like anyone in particular and a pretty person confesses to you then you may try to date them (bc maybe you want to try a new experience or just bc having a partner is "cool" etc.)
i was quite annoyed with the blonde guy's logic that the other guy should've gone out with the girl bc "what if he eventually comes to like her." this is actually my problem with most guys in bl mangas, you can't try out things and enter relationships for the sake of having a gf - JUST BC YOU'RE A GUY AND HS GUYS IN MANGA NEED TO HAVE A GF (like wtf). just like he said, it's not like the black haired likes the girl nor knows her THAT much?? heck he'll just hurt the girl with those half assed feelings. i just can't stand bl authors trying to make girls look pathetic, used, and treated as an outlet to relieve desires even tho the guy obviously likes another person or doesn't even like the girl at all.
