Nope not really lol, but it's because Gyeong almost died bc of Cain, The reason why he left (for a while) is to ensure Gyeong's safety spoiler
Cain will come back, Gyeong is gonna find him
So the other night after I summarize the whole ch.38 last time this was updated I was thinking before I sleep and thought what may the favor Cain is asking the Doctor, and my hunch is that he'll leave and not come back.
For sure it did happen in this chapter, maybe because Cain got really attached to him so it means his Gyeongjoon would become his weakness and it would put the both of then at risk most likely bc war is ongoing.
So for me I think that was the main reason why Cain left, but let's see I hope he realizes he can't live without Gyeongjoon anymore and he is actually in pretty much more danger bc Cain is not by his side to protect him at all times. So I hope he comes back soon ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
