I really doubt he cheated, he's likely just very upset that whatever old feelings he had in the back of his mind kinda cloud judgement so he still goes out of his way to take care of that guy like he probably used to even if he doesn't want to......and his phone being dead during that situation isn't helpful for him either
I hope he's was just taking care of him but if he really slept with him then damn.. what a bastard
